Yesterday my lovely friend Lacey from Pow! Supermum treated me to lunch at Frankie & Benny's! Was good to take my mind off recent events, on a Mummy & baby date with Jacob & Sky (who are also going to be husband & wife in the future).
As usual, I took aaaaaaaages debating over the menu (I discovered Lacey does this too, and also gets told off for it, just like I do!). I already decided I didn't want anything I had had before (not that I didn't like it, I just like trying new things), so it cut it down just a tiny bit...
I decided at first that I would just go for two courses, and then a dessert if I had room. So for starter I went for potato skins with crispy bacon & cheddar (had to go for the cheese, I'm a cheese addict!), and then for main I decided I'd go for a wrap. They all sounded yummy, but decided I'd go for the spice factor and had a Louisiana Hot Wrap. I'm always wary of trying things with 'hot' in the title, especially now after my recent chilli experience (!), but it wasn't too hot for me and I really enjoyed it. Jacob decided he would go for chicken strips & mash from the kids menu. His first taste of F&B's! Though half of it ended up on the floor anyway...
As it was, nobody came to collect our plates for a while, even after making eye contact and clattering the plates while stacking them up, so I had made enough room for dessert! The wait was rather annoying though. Now to debate again.... Eventually I went for the cinnamon waffle crunch, oh my! Though the brownies that Lacey had looked really tempting too.
I heart Frankie & Benny's.
